Tomorrow we are launching Lenten Gestures, a project birthed from the creative minds of many artists, writers, and faith leaders. I am grateful for their contributions, and I hope you glean as much from their gifts as I have.
Lenten Gestures is an ecumenical effort meant to demonstrate the creative potential of an extended community. I tapped into Dea Studios’s growing network of extraordinary individuals, and invited them to participate in a journey meant to offer readers/viewers/listeners an opportunity to experience Lent in a fresh way. Through Lenten Gestures we will journey together by exploring Matthew 25 for the entire season. Matthew 25 offers three takes on how we might prepare for a resurrected life through strategic planning, putting our loaned talents to work, and caring for the least.
This project is part of a developing collaboration between Dea Studios and the Presbytery of San Fernando. We are excited to share with you in the weeks to come. Thank you for journeying with us.
